Jun-Min Wu is now an associate professor in the School of Computer Science, University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). He is also a member of National High Performance Computing Center at Hefei. He is a member of ACM, IEEE. He received his B.E. degree, M.E. degree, and Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from University of Science and Technology of China in 1994, 2000 and 2005, respectively.
Jun-Min Wu has received over 12 research grants, which are supported by 863 Hi-Tech Research and Development Program of China, Huawei, IBM and Sony. With main research interests in high performance computing, multi-core architecture and virtualization, He has published more than forty papers on academic journals and international conferences, co-published book “Parallel Computer Architecture”, co-translated book “Virtual Machines – versatile platforms for systems and processes”, and applied eight patents, two of them are granted.
Jun-Min Wu received outstanding teaching award of Anhui province in 2009 and he was also the co-recipient of the 2009 National Education Award on parallel computing courses. |
